The College Evolution and Psychiatry Special Interest Group welcomed Dr Riadh Abed on 21 May 2021 to present a talk titled “The Evolutionary Psychology of Eating Disorders: The Sexual Competition Hypothesis”. Watch the video below or on YouTube here.
Dr Abed is a retired NHS Psychiatrist and Medical doctor, and was a forming founding chair of the Evolutionary Psychiatry Special Interest Group for the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
The Special Interest Group is open to all College members and Psychiatry trainees.
